The Brand Score

One number that tells you how your brand is doing.

Your customers already judge your brand — they just never tell you the result. The Brand Score asks the same questions they do, and writes the answer down as a number out of 100.

What we check

The areas, and the question behind each one.

Every area is a question a customer silently asks about your business. We answer it with evidence.

  • How you look

Does this business look like it knows what it's doing?

    • Does your logo look the same everywhere people see it?
    • Do your colours and photos feel like one business, or several?
    • Would your sign, your website, and your invoices pass for the same company?

  • What you say

Can I tell, in a few seconds, what you do and why I should care?

    • Can a stranger explain what you do after reading one page?
    • Do you say what makes you different, or the same things every competitor says?
    • Do you sound the same on your website, your social pages, and your emails?

  • How easily you're found

If I look for what you do, will I find you — or your competitor?

    • Do you show up when people search Google for what you do?
    • Is your map listing complete, correct, and up to date?
    • When someone asks an AI assistant like ChatGPT for a recommendation, does your name come up?

  • How your website works

Now that I've found you, do I trust you — and is it easy to act?

    • Does the site load fast and work well on a phone?
    • Is it obvious what to do next — call, book, or buy?
    • Do visitors actually do it? We look at the numbers.

  • What others say

Do people who tried this business say good things about it?

    • How many reviews do you have, and how recent are they?
    • How does your rating compare to the businesses around you?
    • Do you answer your reviews — including the unhappy ones?

How we score it

Same checklist, every time.

Each area is scored out of 20. Together, the areas make your score out of 100.

We go through the same checklist for every business, every time — including checking what AI assistants say when customers ask about your category. A person reads all of it and decides the score.

Because the checklist never changes, the before-and-after numbers are honest like-for-like. When your score goes up, it's because something real changed.

You get the scorecard as a document you can read in ten minutes, and a call where we walk you through it.

Common questions

Asked and answered, plainly.

How do you come up with the score?
We go through the same checklist for every business: we look at your brand, read your words, search for you, try your website, read your reviews, and check what AI assistants say when someone asks about your category. A person weighs all of it and decides the score.
What do I actually receive?
A scorecard you can read in ten minutes: your score in each area, what's holding you back, and a short list of what to fix first — in order. Then we book a call and walk you through it.
How long does a Brand Check-Up take?
Usually about a week from the day we start.
Do I have to buy anything else?
No. The scorecard is yours. Fix things yourself, hire anyone you like, or work with us — it's useful either way.
Will my score really go up?
If the things on the list get fixed, yes. We run the same checklist again after the work, so you're comparing like with like. We won't promise a number — but you'll see exactly what moved, and why.
My business is doing fine. Why measure?
Plenty of strong businesses score well in most areas and low in one or two they can't see — often how they show up in search and in AI answers. The score finds the blind spot before it costs you.

Curious what your number is?

A Brand Check-Up takes about a week, and the scorecard is yours to keep either way.
